The B's are in trouble and I see no end to their miseries.

THE CANADIEN PROPHET'S PUCK LINE 2*: Colorado Avalanche -1.5 +135 Play the puck line in this game. The Oilers have only scored 9 goals in their last 8 games and I see no reason why that trend won't continue tonight on the road in Denver. The Avs have struggled lately, but they are still dominant at home where they are 133-65 SU against bad teams. Another point to consider is that there are many upsets on Saturdays so this is one day I always look at the Saturday night home trend -- The Avs are 25-10 in that regard.

THE CANADIEN PROPHET'S ROAD FAVE 2*: Chicago Blackhawks -135 Wow, the Hawks are on an 0-3 streak but they get revenge opportunity tonight against the Blues, who I picked earlier in the week to beat em in Chicago. There are 3 key stats to this matchup. 1st, Chicago is 5-1 on back to back games. 2nd, the Blues are 1-6 ATS (-6.8 Units) in home games when playing their 3rd game in 4 days this season. 3rd, the Blues are 8-20 in their last 28 home games. Oh, and lets not forget CHICAGO is 14-3 ATS (+8.8 Units) revenging a loss versus opponent this season.

THE CANADIEN PROPHET'S TOTALS 1*: Philadelphia/Minnesota UNDER 5.5 +110 These 2 teams have only played 9 times ever. 7 of 9 games in this series have gone UNDER THE TOTAL, and the last 6 were UNDER. The average score in these games was PHILADELPHIA 3, MINNESOTA 1. Its going to be a 3-2 game so keep it at 1* because the empty netter could be a factor.

DOC'S SPORTS: 2 Unit Play Take Colorado (-1.5 +125) vs. Edmonton (10 pm) We did well by betting against Edmonton last time out, and I see no reason not to continue. These teams met two and a half weeks ago in Colorado, and the Avs were a dominating 6-0 win. Edmonton showed a brief flash of competence with two wins in a row, but those were at home, and this is a long way from a good road team. Edmonton has lost eight road games in a row, and seven of them have been by multiple goals. That's a good matchup for the Avs, a team that has won five of their last seven at home, with fur of those wins by multiple goals. Colorado has won just once in their last five, but they have scored eight goals in their last two and are showing clear signs of turning things around again - especially against an outmatched opponent like this one. Edmonton has only scored three or more goals three times in their last 13 games, so if Colorado can continue their two game stretch of offensive production then they will be fine. They have a major edge by my numbers, so this represents value.
